This exercise was run in week 1 and gave me new insight into personal conceptions. The idea was to fill in the blank words within a sentence that would provoke different outcomes depending on the individual and their interests.

my final version looked like this,

“my response, very late..

The questions that people face as they raise children from infants to adult are not easy to an answer. Both females and males can become concerned when health problems such as coughing arise anytime after the early stage to later life. Experts recommend that young children should have plenty of sensible and nutritious food for healthy growth. Boys and girls should not share the same bed or even be in the same room. They may be afraid of the death.”

I then found out that what I thought would have been the standered response was very different from many of the other students.

This quote from a students from S2, 2013 sums ups why the response can differ.

“It was an interesting exercise. I have since looked at the original. I also asked my partner and one of my sons in particular and interestingly enough one was all about poultry and the other was all about cats with the Panther and Feline being afraid of dogs. Neither had anything to do with children/parenting but then neither has raised small children nor interested in education at all.”
